Mr. Easter Bunny came to town.

The three cousin's Easter baskets: Hello Kitty for Grace, Elmo for Hugo & Basketballs for Noah.
Grace found her peeps.
Bubbles in a plastic icecream cone.
Suckers for breakfast. So nutritious!
Dying Easter eggs.
A lovely combination.
Hugo found a pink egg.
More importantly, what's inside?
Cousin hugs.

Monkey Business

Hugo likes to hang. He likes to hang on the monkey bars, he likes to hang on door frames & most recently he likes to hang on trees. He took a liking to Granny's Dogwood tree over the weekend when we were in Nashville celebrating the Easter holiday. He is surprisingly strong for his age. I like to think Hugo will be a gymnast with his super hanging abilities. He likes to do headstands too, but that's another blog.
Side view.
Look! There's a monkey in that tree.
Just hangin', folks.
Hanging is serious business. Hugo ponders this thought for a bit & wonders what other things he can hang from. Who knows what will be next?

Happy 60th Birthday, Pap!

Pap, 60 years, huh? I have a lot of years to go to catch up with you. I hope you had a super duper special day . I look forward to spending time with you soon. I wish I could have been there to celebrate your 60 years, but I'm glad Aunt Karen "Fluff" was with you. I sure do love you, Pap. When I went to the Circus last week there was a man who sat behind us that was a Pap look-a-like. I kept saying "Pap" and wondered why he wouldn't talk to me. Then Mama told me it wasn't you. I was missing you extra bad after that. Happy Day, Pap! I'll see you soon.

Happy Birthday, Paw Paw!

We love you & miss you, Paw Paw. We hope you had a supreme birthday. Wish we could have been there to celebrate. We'll see you next week!

Macaroni & me

Hugo got to ride a little white pony named Macaroni at the Brown County State Park on Saturday. Pony rides are only $2 per lap. It was well worth the money. Hugo kept leaning down during the ride & kissing the pony's mane. Later on when he tried to tell other people about his time he called the pony "Cheese" because of associating macaroni with cheese.
He's a natural horseman. He isn't scared & holds onto the Saddle horn like a pro. Howdy ya'll!
